I’m happy to travel for your wedding! I serve the majority of Southern Maine (Greater Portland area, Lakes Region, and parts of Mid Coast). Travel is included for ceremony locations within a 50-mile radius of Naples, Maine.

If your venue is beyond that range, I may be able to accommodate with an additional fee to help cover time and mileage. I’ll always confirm any travel costs upfront before booking, so there are no surprises.

Not sure if your location falls within the included radius? Just ask—I’m happy to check and work with you!

While it hasn’t happened, I understand how important it is to have peace of mind. If something unexpected were to prevent me from officiating, I would do everything in my power to help find a qualified replacement who can step in.

Your ceremony will already be fully written and ready to go, created by me and shaped with your input, so anyone stepping in would have exactly what they need to deliver it just as we planned. I’m committed to making sure your day is as smooth and special as it should be.

No worries at all—I do recommend (and gently encourage!) having a rehearsal, which is why it’s included in my services. But if your venue isn’t available, we can absolutely make it work.

All we need is a space where we can picture a “front area,” walk down an imaginary aisle, and go through the flow together. Meaningful rehearsals can happen in parks, living rooms, condo community rooms, even restaurants. It’s more about the practice than the place.

A quick run-through—anywhere—can make a big difference in helping everyone feel relaxed and confident on your wedding day.

Once we’ve met and you decide to move forward, I’ll send an email to confirm your booking. To officially reserve your date, I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit.

From there, the fun begins. We’ll schedule time to walk through all the details of your ceremony—what matters to you, what you want to include (and what you don’t). Then I’ll begin crafting your love story, refining the script with your input, and—with your permission—reaching out to a few close friends or family members for meaningful details that help bring it all to life.

The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding, after you’ve received a draft of your ceremony and had a chance to see how it’s all coming together.

I accept credit and debit cards, and if your wedding is far enough out, I’m happy to offer a payment plan. Just let me know what works best for you!

You do! As the couple, you’re responsible for applying for your marriage license through your local municipal office or the Maine State Registrar, depending on your place of residence. Once you have your license in hand, just bring it with you to the ceremony.

From there, I handle the rest: I’ll verify the information, complete the required sections during your ceremony, and file the license with the issuing office within seven business days. This ensures your marriage is legally registered with the State of Maine.

What to Bring When You Apply for Your Marriage License:

  • Valid photo ID – such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport

  • If previously married, a certified copy of your divorce decree or your former spouse’s death certificate (must have a raised or foil seal)

  • $40 license fee, payable to the Clerk’s Office

You can complete the application in person or get a head start by filling it out online. Once issued, your marriage license is valid for 90 days and must be used within that time frame.

After your ceremony, I’ll make sure everything is signed, sealed, and submitted—so you can focus on celebrating.
