Sheri Maines was the absolute perfect addition to our Wedding day! In addition to being a great officiant, she is one of the kindest, funniest, professional and most helpful people we could have asked for on our day. Before officiating, she took the time to get to know us personally and tailored her part exquisitely. She takes feedback well and made sure that we got what we wanted. It was funny, loving, sweet and saturated in the moment. Everyone commented about how wonderful it was, even into the weeks after our wedding. It was fantastic how “us” it was and she made that possible. We cannot recommend Sheri enough.

Wedding at King’s Hill Inn & Barn, South Paris, ME – 10/11/2025
Sherri was our officiant for our wedding on 10/11/25. From the very beginning Sherri was so warm and welcoming. She listened with curiosity to our ideas and even helped us form a better idea of what we were looking for in a customized ceremony. It was really important for us to include our dog in our ceremony and Sherri was not only understanding, but she was so excited to help us figure out ways to include him. We were beyond impressed with her work and time that she put into crafting our love story to be shared on our wedding day. We filled out detailed questionnaires about our relationship from beginning to what lead us to marriage. She was able to take pieces from each of our questionnaires and create a story that we will cherish forever. Not only is Sherri warm, welcoming, and creative but she is also very communicative with her clients. We were able to message Sherri whenever we had a thought pop into our heads and she would get back to us in a timely manner. She provided us with copies of the ceremony script so we could review and change things as needed. I couldn’t recommend her work more to anyone looking for a sentimental and truly unique ceremony. Sheri went above and beyond every step of the way to help us craft and execute the most special, meaningful ceremony. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care brought our story to life. She was well-organized, professional, and thought of every little thing we hadn’t even known to ask. We heard from several guests that this was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended because of how genuine and beautifully Sheri conveyed our story. Sheri officiated my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding this May, and it was the most wonderful ceremony. She was there every step of the way, helping create the story of their love. It was such a meaningful speech that had such a genuine touch by using stories gathered by them and close loved ones! A lot of guests came up to me during the wedding to express what a touching ceremony it was!
Wedding at Portland Headlight, Cape Elizabeth, ME – 7/13/2025
Sheri was incredible. We wanted a small, intimate, faith-based wedding where we blended our families together and recognized our faith. She was the kindest, most considerate partner in making this happen. She went so far as to check out our venue for us (we are out of state), help me find a florist, loan us 2 beautiful ladder back chairs for the ceremony, and help coordinate the timeline for the day. She also bought a microphone for our lighthouse ceremony to help our small group hear. She was always available and also checked in with me throughout planning. She was almost a wedding coordinator and officiant. I can’t recommend her enough and thank her for her generosity and kindness.

Sheri was an absolute delight to work with! She made our entire ceremony feel stress-free and enjoyable, exactly how we’d hoped our wedding day would be.
